Now You See Me:the magical view
Now You See Me was released on May 31, 2013, and was directed by Louis Letervier. It was an American film that tells the story of a group of high IQ thieves. They using the newest technology, and the gorgeous stage as a cover, complete the turn of theft in plain sight.
There are four main characters in this movie. Jesse Eisenberg as J. Daniel, who is the leader of the Horsemen and he is an arrogant illusionist and street magician. Woody Harrelson as Merritt McKinney, a hypnotist, mentalist, and a self-proclaimed psychic. Isla Fisher as Henley Reeves, an escapist and stage magician. Dave Franco as Jack Wilder, a sleight of hand illusionist, street magician.
The main plot of this movie is that the Four Horsemen demonstrate their new magic in Las Vegas, which is the combination of iPhone, iPad and other mobile devices of the new magic. They stole 3.5 million Euros and threw it above the stage. In under the watchful eyes of the people, through the intelligent mobile phone screen display, to put the money into the victim’s account. This victim is an ex-magician, who has made money by revealing the secrets behind other magicians' tricks.
In my opinion, this movie is very attractive and magical, because people can not guess what will going to happen next, people even difficult to know the real person who is control this event. The obstacle the Four Horsemen faced is that they have to be mysterious and avoid to arrest by FBI. ‘’ The closer you look, the less you see” is the most classic sentence, and I think this sentence was connected the title of this movie, because no one knows who control the Four Horsemen in the middle. However, the viewer just can know what is they goal at the end, I think that is Now You See Me.
