Kung Fu Panda: A Hroe
Kung Fu Panda: A Hero
The Kung Fu Panda is an animation and action film also, it is very interesting and meaningful The leading character is a panda whose name is Po He is lazy, but he has his own dream He wants to ... be a great master to save people in bad life by kung Fu. In order to make his dream come true, he goes to a faraway temple to learn kung fu from a master. From then on, began to hard life. His master teaches him all kinds of kung Fu and he keeps working hard. At last he becomes a real kung fu master.
Kung Fu Panda produced by the west, but the background is include a lot of Chinese style element. Such as, building and places so on. Director Mark Osborne spent 30 years to studying the Chinese culture and making the film lasted five years. I think the producer of the director is to make a global audience better to understanding and know more about the Chinese culture.
In fact, let me the deepest impression was "old turtle". He was Po's teacher and he was very goodness and wisdom. He always said to Po "Yesterday is a history, tomorrow is a mystery, but today is a gift that is why it is called present. "I think that is true, we have to forget the past making hard and challenge some thing new, but never give up.
This movie is not only interesting, but also edifying. I think we should learn something like brave, persistence and insistence. When you are in trouble, you do not give up you can think about Kung fu Panda. When he met the bad guy Lord Shen, he was still facing and defeat it to protect everyone. I was admire him was a hero.
In sum, we have to likes Po was never give up easily for he study Kung Fu. Finally, he proves himself by his success. It was an interesting and motivational story. I think we still can achieve by our efforts and strong wills. As long as we do not give up our dream and nothing is impossible. Eventually, I think this film was very attract for people to see because the Panda was very interesting and always make us laughter.

Life of Pi: Courage and faith
The movie Life of Pi is a 3D adventure
movie, which started with a voice to tell a story about a teenager Pi survived in
the disaster of a tiger called Parker. The famous director Ang Lee used 3D movie
maker to show the thrill scenes. This movie had some nominations in Oscar and
won several international awards. I deeply admired the courage and strong of
Pi. At the same time, the ending of the movie implied imaginative meaning.
In the opening
scene, Pi’s father was a Zookeeper, his family sailed to Canada with animals. Unfortunately,
they suffered from shipwreck that the ship sank into the ocean. Pi survived
with a tiger while being afraid, he looked at the sky of hopelessness. However,
he told to himself he had to survive. We can see the strong and brave in Pi’s
eyes. He made a fishhook for fishing and shared the food to the tiger. Even
though they suffered with the great waves, flying fish and whale, Pi never gives
up. He overcame many obstacles of hunger and fear, Pi and tiger made a
relationship in the journey. In the last scene, Pi reached the Mexican coast, he
defeated the disaster. When he was lying on the beach, the tiger walked into
the forest without looking back.

Forrest Gump: Real Man
Forrest Gump starts with a white feather drifted the place where all appeared
in the movie. The music is relaxed and pleasant and it played by Alan Silvestri.
In the last part of the movie, the white feather drifted down on Forrest’s legs
and he put it in his favorite book. The actor named Tom Hanks, plays Forrest
Gump in the movie. His mother named Sally Field, who plays Mrs. Gump in the
movie and Directed by Robert Zemeckis, this movie carries the message with love,
family, hard work, density, never give up, and acceptance. The movie is about a
boy just got 75 on his IQ test who how to fight his life and his love story
with his girl called Jenny.
The script based on the
novel named Forrest Gump by Winston Groom. In Forrest’s childhood, his teacher
talked to his mother, “your kid is different.” However, his mother always told
him, “you are no different with everybody else, you are no different!” his
mother clamped a pair of hands on Forrest’s shoulder. Fortunately, Forrest met
his girl called Jenny in middle school until college. During his teenager, he
went to college because he got a special skill which is he can run faster than
other people else. Then he became a famous football player and met Mr. Kennedy
President. After he graduated from college, he went to the United States army
and participated in the Vietnam War. During his army life, he met his friends
called Bubba who he likes fishing shrimp and his dream was opened a shrimp company
and owned a shrimping boat. Forrest was the only listener to him. After, they
met their leader named Lieutenant Dan. Unfortunately, Bubba died during the
war. In the fate of the life, he became a popular Ping Pong player and met Mr.
Johnaon President. Therefore, Forrest didn't forgave his brother Bubba and he
made Bubba’s dream come true. After Forrest came back home, he built a
shrimping boat captain and shard his stock to Bubba’s mother. Whatever he did,
whenever he went, he always missed his Jenny. Jenny didn't love him at first,
however, Jenny came back to live with Forrest. In the movie ending, Jenny left
their son to Forrest, and Forrest carried his son to school. After little
Forrest went to school, Forrest sat on the chair in the bus stop and started
memory his whole life.
One of my favorite scenes
is the conversation between Forrest and Jenny. At that moment, Jenny was a
traitorous girl, and she left him again after the conversation finished. Jenny’s
lovely eyes looked at Forrest, “Why you so good to me?” Forrest stared at her
and responded, “You are my girl.” His eyes were tender. Jenny smiled, “I always
be your girl.” As a result, they hugged together tightly. Jenny left him again.
For me, this conversation was romantic, but it was broken-hearted for Forrest.
Hopefully they will have a happy ending.
In sum, Forrest Gump tells
the story of the real man how to change his destiny and find his love in the
end. In our society, not everyone is smart. We don't know our future, the only
thing we can do is try our best to do every one thing. Just like Forrest’s
mother taught Forrest, she said, “Life was like a box of chocolate, you never
know what you are gonna get.” Afterwards, he focused on every one thing and he
did the best job. He didn’t care the people how to see him, he just kept doing
the right thing based on himself.

Now You See Me:the magical view
Now You See Me was released on May 31,
2013, and was directed by
Louis Letervier. It was an American
film that tells the story of a
group of high IQ thieves. They using the newest technology, and the gorgeous stage as a cover, complete the turn of theft in plain sight.
There are four
main characters in this movie. Jesse Eisenberg as J. Daniel, who is the leader
of the Horsemen and he is an arrogant illusionist
and street magician. Woody
Harrelson as Merritt McKinney, a hypnotist, mentalist, and a self-proclaimed
psychic. Isla Fisher as Henley Reeves, an escapist and stage magician. Dave Franco as Jack Wilder, a sleight of
hand illusionist, street magician.
The main plot of this movie is that the Four
Horsemen demonstrate their new magic in Las Vegas, which is the combination of
iPhone, iPad and other mobile devices of the new magic. They stole 3.5 million
Euros and threw it above the stage. In under the watchful eyes of the people,
through the intelligent mobile phone screen display, to put the money into the
victim’s account. This victim is an ex-magician, who has made money by
revealing the secrets behind other magicians' tricks.
In my
opinion, this movie is very attractive and magical, because people can not
guess what will going to happen next, people even difficult to know the real
person who is control this event. The obstacle the Four Horsemen faced is that they
have to be mysterious and avoid to arrest by FBI. ‘’ The closer you look, the
less you see” is the most classic sentence, and I think this sentence was
connected the title of this movie, because no one knows who control the Four
Horsemen in the middle. However, the viewer just can know what is they goal at
the end, I think that is Now You See Me.
Movie Review
Ray ( 2004 ) is a
biographical film focusing on 30 years in the life of rhythm and
Blues musician Ray Charles. The independent produced film
was written, produced and directed by Taylor Hackford, and stars Jamie Foxx in
the title role. Foxx received an Academy Award for Best Actor for his
performance. In the late 1940s. Young Ray Charles (Jamie Foxx), the blind son
of a Sharec Ropper, boards a bus in Florida. He travels to Seattle Washington
where he uses his unexpected talent for the piano to get a job playing for a
nightclub band. The club’s owner soon begins to exploit Ray, demanding sexual
favors and controlling his money and career. After discovering that he is being
lied to and stolen from Ray leaves the band in disgust. In 1950 Ray joins a
white country band who make him wear sunglasses to hide his damaged eyes from
audiences. They go on tour and Ray is introduced to heroin. He also suffers
from traumatic flashbacks relating to his childhood. The elder of two brothers
Ray is raised by a fiercely independent single mother, Aretha Robinson (Sharon
Warren). The family is poor but young Ray finds solace in music. He learns to
play the piano from the man at a local store. By age seven, he is completely
blind. As Ray travels on the road he is becoming to be more and more popular
with his music. Ray ends up meeting Della Bea, a preacher’s daughter. He falls
in love with her, but Ray goes out on the road and meets up with Mary Anne a
singer who teams up with Ray. Della Bea finds Ray’s drugs in his shaving bag and
demands he stop using. Ray refuses and walks out on a pregnant Della Bea. Ray
begins an affair with Mary Anne. And then he falls for Margie’s and the two
begin an affair. Mary Anne leaves Ray and his band but not before throwing a
brick through the windshield of his car out of jealousy over Ray and Margie. During
the 1960s Ray is becoming more and more popular. While sleeping in a hotel room
Ray’s sleep is interrupted by the police who burst in and arrest him. They tell
him that they are acting on an anonymous tip that he has drugs in the room and
are there to arrest him. Although heroin is found and Ray is charged for
possession, he gets off on a legal technicality because the police didn’t have
a search warrant. The film shows Ray having a party in L.A when he is informed
that Margie had died of a drug overdose and he is devastated by the tragedy. In
reality her death from an alleged drug overdose did reportedly upset Charles
but it did not occur until 1973.In the year 1979 the state of Georgia
officially apologizes to Ray and makes ‘ Georgia On My Mind ‘the officially
state song.
Ray Charles, the
piano man was just like his mom say to him “blind but not stupid”, actually Ray
was really talented guy. Thought blind since childhood, he was a remarkable
pianist. But the blind it wasn’t the only obstacle that he has, he manage his blindest
really good but he used to have more problems with using drugs and sleep with
too many women’s even after being married. This movie would be worth seeing for
the sound of the music and the sight of Jamie Foxx performing that it looks
deeper and give us a sense of the man himself is what makes it special. Yes there
are moments when an incident in Ray’s life instantly inspires a song ( ‘I
doubt’, ’What’d I Say’). Ray Charles was quiet man this movie not only knows
it, but for my opinion understand it. But just because Ray was quiet it doesn’t
mean that people can’t learn from him. For my opinion Ray’s life is an
inspiration for people who have problems in life or obstacles that they must
overcome.
Philadelphia: A City of Freedom and Human Rights
Philadelphia:
A City of Freedom and Human Rights
The movie, Philadelphia was released in 1994. The movie is a Hollywood drama
that has an important subject of our lives on discrimination. The movie is a
story of attorney Andrew Beckett, who works for a law firm and has won several
cases for his company. Tom Hanks won a best actor of the year for this movie
role. The movie also won several awards. Tom Hanks plays a gay man who has
AIDS. Though, he becomes a victim of discrimination because of his sexual
orientation and AIDS. Andy gets a promotion for the good job that he did
for the law firm, but one of the attorneys notices the telltale lesion of skin
cancer that he has on his forehead. The attorney knows that this skin cancer is
a sign of AIDS. However, Andy has no idea that he has AIDS but the attorney
thinks that, Andy is hiding his diseases.
Andy tells his boss how excited he is, “I sincerely appreciate your faith in my
abilities” and his boss says, “Faith Andy is a belief in something for which we
have no evidence of, it does not apply in this situation”. However, when Andy’s
boss finds out that Andy has AIDS he start looking for a way to terminate him.
One time, when Andy has friends over, he gets sick and heads to the hospital.
The doctor tells him that he needs to check his blood. While, Andy checks his
blood, he gets a page from his co-worker. Andy calls him back to find out why
his co-worker needs him. His co-worker tells him that they are missing some
documents, but Andy tells him that he left it at the desk, “I left it at the
desk last night” but his co-worker could not find it. After a month Andy gets
terminated because of missing documents. They set him up by dislocating
the documents. Therefore, they can terminate him from the company because they
think they will contract his disease. Joe Miller is a lawyer who advertises on
TV, promising to save your driving license and helps people who get injured in
their work, plays by Denzel Washington. Andy wants to sue his company, so he
can have peace with himself and to donate the money to charity, if he wins the
trial. Andy asks a lot of lawyers to help him however, nobody wants to take his
case because he has AIDS.
At the beginning of the
movie Joe Miller was homophobia. However, he finally feels sympathy for what
Andy is going through in life, therefore he decides to be his lawyer. For
example, at one time a man approaches Joe and tells him that he is doing a good
job and ask him if he is gay, but Joe gets upset and calls him a, “fagot” but
the next day in courtroom Joe Miller tells the courtroom, how unfairly people
treat gay people. Joe Miller becomes a totally different person in
overnight also it is unrealistic. In the movie, Andy’s boss says a lot of
abhorrent words about Andy, “He brought AIDS into our offices into our men’s
room”. Andy’s boss treats Andy as a useless person because he had AIDS.
However, a person does not intend to get sick or they do not choose to be gay.
The Opera that is Andy’s favorite song makes the movie more dramatic especially,
when he interprets the song it makes the movie dramatic. It makes a lot of
people to feel sad and also puts us in deep thoughts. The song makes Andy like
he is going to die the next day. The movie, Philadelphia is one of the best
movies of Hollywood. People should never be discriminated against their
sexual-orientation, well-being, race, gender, and social status. We should
treat all people with dignity and care. In the movie lawyer Joe Miller says,
“It does not say God created all STRAIGHT men equal, it says God created all
men equal”. All human beings should enjoy freedom of speech, beliefs, and
freedom because we all are created equal.
