Brick Mansions: When The Truth Appears 

          Brick mansions in English was released in 2014. Also, it is a remake of a France action movie called B13 directed by Camille Delamarre. Brick Mansions starts with a news saying that the most dangerous city in America is Detroit and that they put all the criminals, dangerous people and poor families in a closed place surrounded by walls to protect the rest of the city. This area called brick mansions. The mayor (Bruce Ramsay) wants to rebuild the area, but the council members say “What about the people who live in there?” “Everything will be taking care of” he replied in an evil voice. Actually, the mayor is planning to kill all people in there using a bomb. An undercover cop, Damien Collier (Paul Walker) thought that he’s going to save their lives by going there and inactivate the bomb. In fact, the mayor tricks him because once he enters the code the bomb will blow up. Lino (David Belle) is a guy who got his girlfriend Lola (Catalina Bartczak) kidnaped by a drug kingpin, Tremaine (RZA) because her boyfriend Lino stole a bag full of drugs and ruined them. The undercover cop, Damien Collier decided to work with Lino because he knows that place very well. However, Lino accepts to work with him because he wants to return his girlfriend back. Brick

         Mansions is an action, drama and crime movie and it’s for people who are over 18. This movie is one of the best movies I have ever watched because it shows how some mayors do not deserve their position. Also, it shows that if any place is bad that does not mean that everyone in that place is bad too. Also, it teaches us that we can’t judge people only from the view unless you know them from the inside. However, every movie has things we like and things we dislike. For example, in this movie I liked the story because it shows us one of the main problems in many countries. Also, I loved the music they used because it made me live the action in the movie. Moreover, I liked the message of this movie, which I would summarize in one sentence, not everything bad stay bad forever, everything could be better if there is a good environment. In the other hand, I didn’t like the scene when the whole gang entered into the mayor place because that leave an impression on the society that they can be stronger than the government and might encourage it to do that. My favorite scene was when the undercover cop’s grandfather kept his promise and threw the cigarette. Finally, I recommend this movie for all the adults, action fans and drama fans as well.
